So, a less-fitter mom may dilate more rapidly as compared to a super-fit mom. While it is not bad to maintain great fitness during your pregnancy, you may want to relax on the intensity of your exercises on your second stage of childbirth as studies have shown that an enlarged strong pelvic floor muscles become less ‘trampoline-like’.
