What easy exercise can I do to prepare for labour?
Nov 22, 2024There are some strengthening exercises that can help you prepare for childbirth, but my favourite would be the yoga-during-pregnancy videos. One position that would be helpful is pelvic stretching, such as squatting, as this is said to widen the pelvic outlet by around 25 percent and will help you adjust to your pregnancy’s ‘centre of gravity’. Take note too that maintaining this position can be a bit challenging, but your sense of balance may be comfortably acquired through constant practice.
