What cries could mean that my baby is unwell?
Nov 20, 2024A prolonged cry that sounds whiny, nasal and low pitched.
- A weak-sounding cry.
- 38°+C temperature (e.g. urinary tract infection).
- Vomiting.
- Seizures.
- Diarrhoea.
- Limpness.
- Rash (e.g. allergies, dermatitis).
- Pale or blue-tinged skin and feeling cold to the touch.
- Coughing.
- Wheezy breathing.
- Hitting or pulling at their ears (earache).
- Attempting then refusing feeds.
