What are your general care tips for our newborn?
Nov 19, 2024When cleaning your baby, do make sure you get into all the wrinkles — as those crevices can accumulate gunk. Do dry all those creases and wrinkles really well too. And no cotton buds up their nose or in the ears. Just wash away any residue from your baby’s cord stump with a damp cotton bud at bath-time or change-time. The stump then turns black, smelly, dries up and falls off in about 5–10 days. Some mums use nail clippers, some use nail scissors, some use special baby nail cutters, some use an emery nail-file board and easier to be done with the baby is asleep. Avoid heavy perfumes, strongly scented deodorants and smelly room deodorisers.
