Is there any post-birth rest routine that I can follow?
Nov 14, 2024Author Tracy Hogg advocated new mums send themselves to bed from 2–5 pm every day or, if they can’t manage that, to take at least three one hour naps every day during the first six weeks, for rejuvenating rest. Even if you have help, even if you don’t feel tired, you have this huge wound inside you. If you don’t get enough rest, I guarantee that six weeks later you’ll feel as if a bus hit you. However, don’t let me be the one to say I told you so.
