Is it really my fault that the baby continues to cry?

If your baby is ‘crying all day’, then there is a high possibility you may have inadvertently missed his cues and he is overtired, overfed, fatigued and/or overstimulated. Some ‘high-need’ fussy-by-nature babies are trickier to soothe than others (say about 40 per cent are easy, 40 per cent are not so easy, and 20 per cent are outright difficult). So, the amount a baby cries are also strongly influenced by his temperament or personality.
