Is it normal to increase shoe size after giving birth?
Nov 22, 2024Not all women are left with permanently bigger feet, but it is very normal to go up a half or full shoe size. That’s why so many of your pre-pregnancy shoes may continue to feel uncomfortably tight. This happens predominantly from the first pregnancy, but can recur with subsequent pregnancies. (Yes, that’s right, you can start out as a size 7 and eventually end up an 81/2.)
