How do you dress up your baby for the weather?

A good rule of thumb is to dress your babe in one more layer than you are wearing, unless it is hot weather. It is important not overdress a baby, because allowing them to overheat is dangerous (being too hot is far more serious for an infant than being too cold). If you’re not sure, feel your baby’s neck or back or tummy — it should feel comfortably cosy (a temperature of high 36°C or low 37°C).
