How do you choose the right bottle for your bub?

There are different hole sizes at the top of bottle teats: newborn (0–3 months), medium flow (3–6 months) and fast flow (6–18 months). If you can’t decide which brand or shape of bottle nipple to buy, pick the teat that most closely resembles your own nipples, perhaps the long latex version rather than silicone — there are also ‘breast-bottles’, designed to simulate breastfeeding with a bosom-like shape. But don’t buy all the same style of bottles and teats — have a bit of variety to ensure that your baby stays flexible as it gets older to accept different bottles.
