Aside from the APGAR test, what other tests are performed on my newborn?

These would include: height and head measurements; weight; In boys, they will check whether both testes are descended (if not, they will be expected to descend within the first year); that the anus is formed properly; listening to the heartbeat; that the upper palate is complete and not cleft (incompletely developed); hip dislocation; tummy checked that the liver and spleen are the right size; state of the skull bones; and overall general anatomy normality.
