Most of my friends who used them say that slings are particularly effective at soothing a baby while trying to do household chores or making dinner. Some studies of older societies would vouch at how baby carrying improves infants’ neck muscles, alertness visually, back strength and overall contentment as compared to western babies who are accustomed to their prams or strollers.
